haiku wednesday - the writing monster edition

This week's words are grip, prefer, thread
Ooh, so much potential in these three words. But what, you ask, is the deal with that Writing Monster thing? Another writing prompt, which I encourage all of you to do. Click through that link after you breeze through the haiku today, please! B-Dot and I thank you!

tight grip on loose thread
they prefer control to peace
arms talks unravel

those who prefer love
reach out with hope in darkness
grip the unseen thread

lose your grip, cowboy
taunt life's wild rodeo bull
clowns prefer red thread

All very nice, but the last one I really enjoyed, cowboy.

Ha! Thanks, Christine! I will make the rounds later this week. Sorry, but that's the life of a working stiff.

I liked the feeling of the second one best.

Three good ones, but I like the first best.

I like the second one best..."gripping the unseen thread." Holding on so tightly to what, we don't even know :-)
