haiku wednesday

This week's words are:
Forgotten
Hotel
Obscure

obscure memory
her room number forgotten
hotel matchbook lost

obscure floor, bare feet
step--crunch--forgotten item
slimy roach hotel

obscure hotel tryst
"I've forgotten your name, hon."
just how I want it

the crunching of stray roaches is something i haven't encountered since the misspent days of my youth,,, living from flea bag motel to flea bag motel,,, just ahead of the rent man....

These were very clever...the roach one made me cringe because I could picture it so perfectly in my mind! *shudder* lol

I loved the direction you went... could have done without memories of Florida and crunchy things, lol, but loved the forgotten names and room number.

Yeah, the roach one was really icky. Really good but really icky.

But it's the third one that sticks with me. In an uncomfortable way.

Thanks for sharing these!

I really like the last one. The hotel lends itself to tales of one night stands and secret rendezvous.

I liked the second one best. I could just hear that crunching sound.

I said 'ewwwwwwww!' outloud at the cockroach line.
